We need your Google Maps business link to program your card. Here's exactly how to get it — takes less than 60 seconds.

Search your business on Google

Open Google and search your business name. It should appear in the search results or Google Maps.

Select your business listing

Click or tap on your business name in the results to open your Google Maps listing.

Copy the link — two options

On mobile: Tap Share → Copy Link.  On desktop: Copy the URL from your browser's address bar (maps.google.com/…).

Paste it in the order form

At checkout, paste your Google Maps link into the provided field. That's it — we'll handle the rest.

Does my phone need an app to use the card? +
No app needed at all. Modern iPhones (iPhone 10 and newer) and most Android phones with NFC can read the card natively. Your customer just taps their phone on the card and the Google review page opens automatically in their browser.
What if I don't have a Google Business Profile? +
You'll need a Google Business Profile before ordering — the card is programmed with your specific Google review link. Setting one up is free at business.google.com. Once your listing is live and verified, come back and order your card.
How long does delivery take? +
Once we receive your order and business details, we program and dispatch your card within 2–3 business days. Delivery is nationwide across New Zealand via standard NZ Post.
What if my Google link changes later? +
The card is locked to your Google review link for security. If your link changes you'd need a new card, however Google review links are tied to your Place ID — not your address — so they very rarely change.
Is it compatible with all iPhones? +
Yes, for iPhone 10 (XR, XS) and newer — iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 all work natively. Older models (iPhone 6, 7, 8, X) do not support background NFC tag reading. All modern Android phones with NFC enabled are fully supported.
Can someone tamper with or reprogram my card? +
No. Each card is password-protected after programming using our NFC Tools app. Only we hold the password — your customers cannot change or interfere with the link in any way.
What details do I need to provide at checkout? +
Simply provide your Google Maps business URL (the link to your Google Maps listing), your business name, and your contact details. We'll extract your Google review link and program the card. See the guide above if you're unsure how to find your link.
Are prices GST inclusive? +
No — all advertised prices are GST exclusive. GST (15%) is added at checkout. A full GST receipt is provided with every order, issued by Thrive Local NZ Ltd.
